Lovely!

Nice to see structure being focused on- not everybody gets the foundations, and it's so interesting to see, too!

Thanks for sharing this.

Gorgeous amount of detail, I've always loved pictures made out of smaller pictures. (plus the fact that you used tea is awesome)Β

I love your work and am always stunned by your style and technique. However, I would say that this is not quite up there with your best. While I love the biological and geometric harmony in the portrait I'm afraid her features begin to get buried and because of this I don't see as much individuality or flow I expect from your work. What I do love in this particular piece is the, what I took, as "edgy" or "punky" piercings and eyelashes. This is where I saw the most personality but I would love to see more.

The small details at the edge of the face are fantastic. I absolutely love the tiny feathers, scribbles, and doodles further away from her face. The facial proportions are accurate but I lose the left eye. Maybe too much shadow? The only other part that sticks out to me is the lower lip. It seems to blend into some sketch and throw off the angle. Other than those minor exceptions this piece comes together quite well.Β

And now the more I look at it I can see a wonderful gradation of sharp angles in the right side of her face and as you go closer to the nose her skin seems to smooth out. I really like that. Perhaps this shows some more of this woman's facets? I can't help but admire this along with all your work. I hope this helps.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Your art is so beautiful. I love how the people look like they are shattered and stained. They are almost like stained glass windows. This is such a great concept and i think it is very interesting that you use tea. Great job!
