Wow!, only 8 hrs, thats fantastic, so do you start with the face and doodle over it or how do you do these, there seems to be a lot of signatures or writing on them do they just pop out at random or are they all pre-planned.
I only ask as years ago I used to do doodles that went in all directions but if you looked with a magnifying glass you could see tiny perfectly formed letters within each line that spelt words if you followed the lines, your work reminded me so much of them, but yours are much more beautiful.

Look up automatic writing and drawing - I studied the works of the early surrealists quite heavily - these influences were a huge influence on my work.

I thought they looked a little like my old automatic drawing figures, its amazing how many future events you can find in them, though I did feel at one point as if I was losing it, so I stopped, when I did, I found my actual drawing skills had got better.
So do you do it then decorate after or let it all just develop, whatever you do my friend, they are excellent art, cheers, Mike.

I mix the very figurative with the exploratory drawing but each comes and goes - there are no real stages to the work - just go with the feeling

I love how her face is weaved together from tiny leaves and details, this piece has some shamanic feeling to it. Love it.
