Description Just character portraits that I pixelled for my 8-bit Amstrad CPC game project 'RoboCop: Prime'.  May need some tweaking but generally are complete.   These will be used for various story bits whether on their own for dialogue cutscenes or sat in the car as it drives to the next level and such.   That's why I drew them from the side on so I could use them in many places to save memory.

13 colors - wide pixel resolution.

Doubled up with ''scanlines'.

I use Game Maker: Studio Professional.  I don't have the exports.

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 and Pro Motion 6 for spriting and it's really up to the artist on what they feel most comfortable with and what works for them.   Just try pixelling some stuff and then take it to wayofthepixel.net or pixeljoint.com to get some tips from other pixellers of various skill levels ranging from other amateurs to industry professionals.

I'll make it the way I want to make it if that's ok?  Of course it's gonna be repetitive.  It's mostly walking about shooting bad guys.

And yes I have Facebook but I only use it for family and my drama group.  Nothing else.  I have a Twitter for all other things.  My username is Carnivac there.

The whole game has to fit onto a real 8-bit computer that has only 128k memory (with a slightly cut down version for the 64k versions of the machines).   There is a lot of recycling of enemy sprites (in different colours) and while some may have different tops (and even that has to be limited), they will all share the same leg sprite animations ('cept robocop of course).  ED-209 will be the largest boss sprite and he's mostly just animated in the legs.  His top part will be a seperate sprite.

Thanks.

They look like they make little staring at each other contest - Murphy got advantage, he can blink and nobody will see that

Hehe, yeah.   They look cool placed side to side too (with Lewis overlapping and offset so it looks like she sat next to him) in the car bit with the level graphics scrolling behind.
