Got as close as I dare to this owlet that was sunning himself over by our barn. There were 3 of them hopping around learning how to fly. Then the next day the whole family disappeared. So glad I was able to get the shot, when I did.Taken with 35mm Canon Rebel 2000 with zoom lens.

I had a friend in Portugal that was adopted by several owlets (smaller ones) after the parents nested in his house. One used to like to sit on his head while he typed. *L*
