What a lucky, magnificent shot this is! I myself prefer this frame, because the lightning stands out more and isn't lost in the whiteness of the frame.

I like the black frame better, more dramatic effect, I think the white detracts from the lightening now that I see the two, lol course if you hadn't changed it, it STILL would have been great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Superb capture of lightning! The frame works well with this, darkening the edges even more and highlighting the bolt. It looks as if heaven just opened up and shot raw power through.....exciting picture!

pwer..or Personally (depending on where your fingers are) I like the framed version (wait a minute) ok...that is a HUGE BOLT!!!! there are so many trees that we don't get to see one like that unless, well I don't know where we would go, saw some in Texas once and midwest...just awesome...looks like it would be ripe for alot of fires (pray not)

I think there are 16 held fires burning in this province........lightening strikes of course......one of these bolts I saw struck a house in Edmonton and started a fire above a baby's room, good thing the father noticed and raced upstairs and fetched the baby and his family and got out of the house. The fire dept. raced to the scene and doused the fire(mainly in the attic) I just read that in the newspaper today..........wild
