Description
Rarity: Aquamarine
Rarity is a second-in-command of sorts, being the most organized (besides the obvious) and versatile. She has varied knowledge on gem and pony culture and is easily able to integrate herself into any situation. Her powers deal mostly with her creativity, she has the ability to create offensive and defensive constructs using her weapon (a paintbrush) and illusions/visions to distort reality and disorientate her opponents. She also has limited control of water. Her gem is on her chest.
Pinkie Pie: Rosolite
Pinkie Pie is an odd but useful member of the group; almost as fast as Rainbow, able to think as quickly as Twilight or Rarity (she is surpassed by Twilight and just about matches Rarity) and has natural ‘earth pony’ strength like Applejack. She has strange and mysterious powers like the ability to blink out into different worlds, future vision, the ability to hold objects in her mane in hammerspace and more… if she learned to control her powers, she’d be more formidable than anyone else on the team but she’s more focused on ice cream, cake and parties and she could never stay still enough to utilize her skills (except in the most serious of situations) she’s fine with that though. Her weapon is a party cannon that does major knockback and damage. She also, like Applejack, has limited control of earth. Her gem is located on the base of her stomach.

Rarity is Aquamarine and Pinkie Pie is Rosolite, together they fuse to form the energetic, social, beautiful, creative, joyful, creative(and flighty): Morganite! (often just called Morgan by the rest of the Mane Six Gems)
She’s an almost perfect fusion – only Princess Opal and an unrevealed fusion are more ‘together’ than them but they are pretty close. Even though they aren’t exactly perfect, this is Rarity and Pinkie Pie’s favorite fusion because they are able to do so much good together (mutual goals and the ability to see two different solutions through their eyes that they can then use teamwork to see through) and it really is a prime example of the whole being greater than the sum of their parts. Rarity and Pinkie Pie aren’t really able to fuse (at least, not on ‘gem time’) very often(being used for only very specific situations) because Morganite isn’t seen as the most necessary or important fusion but when they are used they put their all into seeing it through.

I’ll draw Fusion Dances for the rest of the fusions later but one cool thing I decided to do is pick out their gem themes and fusion music (if I can find a track that matches what I think it would be)! Rarity’s music would be heavily string based (mostly violin) with occasional light piano accompaniment, very classical and refined and Pinkie would be partially chiptune, polka and dubstep. So I decided for now that this would be their fusion dance tune and this would be their fusion theme
BG belongs to stevencrewniverse, Ponies drawn by me!
