Description    Thank you so much for watching me! It means a lot to me that people would care about my art or ideas, or even consider me a potential friend. Here's a bit of lore for Astronomer, a character I hold dear to my heart.
😃
Exploring the vest region of Mars (vest from the research base), Astronomer was walking steadily along the rough terrain, red and orange dust being lifted up by its legs. The weather was rather nice for Mars, that was what Astronomer was thinking. The night enveloped the surface of the Red planet, leaving only the light of the stars to shine through the slim atmosphere.
  Near a hill, something common on Mars, Astronomer decided to stop and look at the sky. The Devil camera following it stopped as well and recorded the night show, the vastitude of stars, so close, yet so far apart on the sky. The moons sluggishly drifting in dead space, between flickering gas masses, like ships sailing through the unknown waters of the Arctic. Astronomer felt attracted to the scenery, in a way neither its coding, nor its brain could understand. Feeling both alone and part of an unseen energy, the orchestra of the universe, it was a new sensation for it. Astronomer kept looking at the sky, as if it was the last time it will show itself, and was thankful to exist together with the planets, with the stars, with the humans far away, and with the red rocks close to it.

If commenting from ProjectComment, I would like to know your opinion on the short story too.

First off, I'm Pirasenshi! I'm from the group ProjectComment ! This is for the Big Comment Contest.  I'll just give my views and thoughts on this artwork.

I love the idea for this artwork! The composition is good. The robot is also drawn well. Astronomer 's design is just prefect. It is simple and nice to look at. It's not too clustered, which is a bonus. The symmetry is well proportioned. The planets' lineart is good because it has good shading ( there's the core shadow and the reflected highlight). I feel that you do know the types of a shadows, which is really helpful when shading!

Also the short story was good. Liked how you described the scene.

If there's something I have to point out, its the technique used to shade the background. The shading in the background isn't smooth. The objects like the planets and Astronomer were shaded smoothly but the background could do some work.

I hope you find this comment helpful!

First, thanks for commenting and the compliments! They motivate me to work more.
Also, I understand that I have to work more on my backgrounds, and I will.

I have never watched you, but I came from ProjectComment (I'm a member) so here is my opinion.

This reminds me of the experience with the Mars Curiosity Rover from many many years back. It is totally exhilarating and shows off that the artist (you) have great taste in astronomy. I do too, and I am looking forward to more space art like these.

Even though there is no colour or anything like that (colour is not a mandatory thing, it's more of a bonus really) the sketching and shading is absolutely top-notch. It even looks great as a wallpaper for any smartphone or tablet with an OLED or AMOLED display so, great job!

It does have an ounce of originality, and the vision it sets out aspires the toddlers and kids from this generation (no matter their differences; let's unite as one) to look up to not just you as an artist, but also historical space explorers like Neil Armstrong!

So, to summarise..

Vision = 5/5
Originality = 4.5/5
Technique = 5/5
Impact = 5/5
Colouring = [not applicable]
Shading = 5/5
Visual style = 5/5

On the ProjectComment grading scale it is... a 29.5 out of 30.

Great job!
