Entry 1 for the Theme Park Competition in the group Disney-Club
When entering Disneyland Paris one thing that has always caught my eye was the vintage style poster advertising some of the attractions. This is what inspired me to create a poster for an attraction, In this case I chose Big Thunder Mountain as it is my personal favourite and original compared to the other Disney Park versions. The Disneyland Paris version of BTM is built on its very own island in the middle of the river in Frontierland, meaning when the ride first starts you go straight through an under water tunnel to reach the island. The scene I decided to capture is when the train comes out from the tunnel.
One of the main challenges in creating this image was getting the correct train shape, I used photographs I have took on previous visits to as references to help me and so I can see what features are on the train. I decided to draw wooded boards to place the font on as this goes with the Wild Western Frontierland theme.

I love Thunder Mountain. I think you captured the retro look of the posters pretty well. That's cool how Paris's version is on an island.
