Description Here are my favorite fighting game series. If some of these series are you favorite as well, then feel free to comment. Here are the reasons now why I enjoy these series.

King of Fighters: Wow! KOF is a pretty big series! Like really, KOF has a ton of great games and two of my favorites are KOF XIV and 2002 UM. My favorite characters are Terry Bogard (Enjoyed him in Smash and enjoyed him in the games he came from), Iori and Athena to name a few. I also think Kula, K', Orochi, Kyo, Angel and some other fighters are cool as well. My interest continued to grow ever since I got XIII to play on my Xbox One and 2000 and 2002 on Arcade Archives on Switch. Will definitely pre-order/buy KOF XV for my PS4 and heck I'm even interested on how the game plays on a PS5 if I had one. Though I wonder why KOF XV is coming to Xbox Series, but not on Xbox One. Thank god I got a PS4 then so me as a Last-Gen person has a chance to play it.

Super Smash Bros.: Brawl is a childhood classic for me along with Sonic Colors and Lego Star Wars III, the first fighting game I had ever owned. In my opinion Smash Bros. Ultimate is the definitive Smash game for me. The $60 price tag for that game is worth it and both Fighter Passes adds a lot more. Smash Ultimate could last you for days, weeks, months, years and maybe even decades because of how much content it has ranging from Spirit collecting, custom stages to try, try to break records with Classic Mode and Home Run Contest and multiplayer local and online.

Virtua Fighter: While my least-favorite of the three 3D fighters series I played it still win a place in this spot. I am happy that Sega decided to port/remaster/remake Virtua Fighter 5 along with Sonic Colors and Super Monkey Ball 1, 2 and Deluxe. Like wow the difference jumping from Final Showdown on Xbox One to Ultimate Showdown on PS4 is night and day for me even though Final Showdown and original 5 are still pretty games. This game series also encourages to take there time, so it's not really recommend for people who are expecting Tekken 7-like controls. I also played Virtua Fighter 2 Genesis from Sega Genesis Classics and Mini and Virtua Fighter 2 and they are great as well.

Tekken: Tekken has to be my favorite 3D fighting series. Lighting fast moves, hard-hitting punches and kicks is what makes Tekken my favorite series. Plus in Tekken 7 I love to customize characters like I literally made Kazuya a guy that doesn't look too out of place in the Matrix movies. Tekken 3, Advance, 6 and Tag Tournament 2 are great as well.

Mortal Kombat: What can I say? Mortal Kombat is some of the more gorier fighting games and it shows. Mortal Kombat 11 and XL are my favorites, but I am interested on hunting down Armageddon for Wii since the customization looks awesome as a fan of SoulCaliber 3 - VI's customization. MK9, X and 11 have cool bonus characters like the PS3 version of 9 having an iconic PlayStation character, Kratos as well as Freddy Krugar and X and 11 having characters from various movies like for X, Alien, Predator, Jason Voorhees and Leather Face and for 11, Joker (With references to DC Universe vs. MK and both Injustice games), Spawn (Can't get enough of the references he made when he was in SoulCaliber 2), Terminator, Robocop and Rambo.

Injustice: Marvel vs. Capcom used to be my favorite, but I grew out of it. I enjoyed Injustice 1 and 2 a lot. It's Mortal Kombat, but with DC Superheroes and Supervillians. Plus more in Injustice 2 like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Hellboy and Scorpion appeared in the first Injustice and then Raiden and Sub-Zero for Injustice 2. I am really excited for the Injustice movie as well as the Mortal Kombat ones. Looking forward to an Injustice 3 if Ed Boon is planning on that.

Killer Instinct: Best. Xbox. One. Fighting. Game. Series. Ever! I am fully aware that Killer Instinct 1 is on SNES and Game Boy and Killer Instinct 2 as Killer Instinct Gold on N64, but I think the Xbox One and Series consoles are THE Killer Instinct machines since Rare Replay has Killer Instinct Gold and Killer Instinct Reboot also has the first two KI games as well as (Obviously) the reboot. So satisfying pulling off combos and hearing "C-c-c-combo Breaker!"

Street Fighter: Street Fighter is great for me. I owned the 30th Anniversary Collection on PS4, Switch and Xbox One even! Ever since I played Super Street Fighter IV on 3DS I am hooked! Street Fighter V is my favorite of all time because I love the characters very own stories and also the Arcade mode where you can choose which game ladder you want to choose to unlock different endings for each character.
