The bigggest lens I have is a 300 mm would that suffice for cormorants?

Thats the size of the lens I have. Just creep up very slowly and quietly - and you should be able to get there

Ok - tell me why IB is better than DA. Etc...... Why should I be there??? Is it a similar format? Who looks at it etc... Would I sell any of my work on there?

OK Robyn...
1. It's not better, it's totally different from here... just "galleries-way" portfolio publish of your work...
2. You should be there as an "add" to here, the more you're present on the web, the more you're gonna be around and found by search engines (Google, MSN Search,...)... NOT to replace dA !!
3. I'm making contacts with as many magazines around the world to look for their pictures at IB... so yeah, other/more people are looking...
4. I truly hope you sell via IB or elsewhere, again, the more you're published, the better chance you get noticed...
5. It's free... so why not try it out... don't have to be afraid about copyright, I'll explain that to you in a personal note if you want... shortly explained... all public images are only 660px, so no commercial use is possible with images on IB...

Please ask me if you have more questions... I've got not that much secrets....

He was getting a bit agitated here - I had been around him a little long. So this was my last shot before i moved away and left him in peace.
