Description This is a movie that I saw recently in my sociology class and I would have to say that it's one of the most mean-spirited movies I ever saw. Now just because something is mean-spirited doesn't mean it's bad *cough: thinking about how MrEnter hates anything that's mean-spirited. I have to say that I really enjoyed this movie and I personally would recommend it. It seems like knowing how MrEnter hates pretty much anything that's mean-spirited, he'd probably hate this movie.

So are we supposed to like something BECAUSE it's mean-spirited? What are we supposed to think about stuff that doesn't have much to even talk about besides being really mean-spirited, example being, and I know this is gonna be trite, One Coarse Meal? What are we supposed to consider them?

TBH, I've never really been a fan of mean-spirited humor myself. It makes me feel a hole in my chest.

I'm not saying that's all mean-spirited things are good, it's just that if it's the fucking point of the story then I don't mind like with this movie. The movie is about racism in South Africa. I got to watch this movie in my sociology class because we were learning about race. Spoiler Alert: When the boy gets sent to boarding school, a bunch of bullies hang and kill the main character's chicken because the boy didn't support Adolph Hitler (the beginning of the movie takes place during world war 2) and they were about to hang the PK too until they were caught the the principal. As I was watching the movie I was like "This has got to be the most mean-spirited movie I ever saw and I enjoyed the movie." I was also thinking to myself "I bet that MrEnter and his fans would get butthurt over this movie because it's mean spirited. I'd love to see MrEnter rant about this movie". There's also quite a bit of deaths in the movie. And from the other stuff that the character get hurt and therefore make it an atrocity is that the character learns something at the end, which none of MrEnter or his fans seems to notice. Why I don't like the newer SpongeBob episodes like One Course Meal is that Mr. Krabs didn't learn anything at the end and have a moral.

I'm sorry. I'm kind of a fan of him, to be honest. I've personally never knew why I never really found kafka comedy funny. The premise could be good if done right, but the bully peeing on the kid, is that visibly done? If so... eww. I know he's probably a kid and all, but still.

Wait, was Hitler actually as Jewphobic and evil back then? I'd need to

Also, I believe Mr. Enter blindly dislikes something BECAUSE it's mean-spirited. He just doesn't think it did mean-spirited humor right. He thinks the SpongeBob episode The Abrasive Side did it right (Top 25 Modern SpongeBob Episodes). He also said he remembers Invader Zim doing mean-spirited humor right (Q&A video). Though, from what I can tell he at least understands that different people have different opinions on cartoons. Now, I don't know how to do or not to do black and/or kafka comedy but he thinks that to do mean-spirited humor right it's easier as an outside force, and probably works better when it's a villain doing it. I guess it's one of the more harder aspects to talk about.

Yeah, One Coarse Meal was kind of disgusting. Not in a gross-out way (there isn't really any grossout unless you count the 16 Paranoia Plankton model or if you count half of Plankton being dissolved by stomach acid), but in more of "this could be legitimately insulting to someone who attempted suicide. I don't know anyone who does, thank god, but I don't want to know what it'd be like while watching this episode" kind of disgusting. You know an episode where Mr. Krabs was being an asshole that I thought worked out? Jellyfish Hunter. It had a few problems that I kind of agree with PieGuyRulz with, like the out-of-nowhere twist, and Mr. Krabs never actually trying to prove he's sorry (though I guess I could excuse that with that he's supposed to be an asshole, but then I could say the same for similar episodes that failed so I digress) but the overall experience was good. Mr. Krabs actually gets punished for what he did. I didn't think the musical number was horrible *coughcoughunlikeatlantissquarepantiscoughcough*. And the jokes they go for are actually funny. I hear The Cent of Money was pretty okay too, but the premise makes it seem like a rip-off of the last part of Jellyfsh Hunter.

"It goes beyond making you think the writer is a sadistic fuck. It has the ability to kill hope. It has the ability to kill sanity. I may be going down, but I'm taking this Fucker with me."
