Description
Materials: Multiliners, Copic Sketch markers.Time: 10 hours.
I've been really busy with school, but recently found some time to doodle and color something for stress relief \o/
The characters are original, so they're not from any series o3o I love designing clothes for characters, I think it's really fun and gets my creative juices flowing.
The background is very experimental; I wanted to do something abstract (a floral silhouette outline), but turns out it's a lot harder to do by hand OTL;; Same with the polka dot pattern, which I tried to use a ruler for as guidelines. It messed me up more than helped, so I ended up eyeballing the rest of the pattern and it finally came out looking more natural \o/
I hope I'll have more time this semester to draw. Upper division classes are a killer OTL;;;

Well, aside from stating the obvious, let me get on with the actual critique.
Vision:
The background really suits the mood of the picture. It's nice and pleasant and radiates an indescribable feeling of warmth. The bunny and the cat also are really good representations of the two girls you drew-- those animals really do suit them.
You shaded the hair beautifully; your coloring is flawless, in general. It's so neat I could actually believe this was a digital piece; I can barely see any white spots. That's pretty amazing, even for using copics.
I can only spot a few problems with this piece. Now, this is obviously just my own opinion, so it may just be me being too critical. How old are the characters? Even for, say, a seven-year-old, those thighs are scarily thin. But then again, it's anime, so thighs are always as thin as the lower part of the leg, so oh well. Also, another thing that bothered me a bit was the positioning of the black-haired girl. She's smiling and seems happy and all, but she seems a bit like she's pulling away from the brown-haired girl; to me, it doesn't seem very close, almost as if the brown haired girl is clinging on while the black haired girl feels a bit uncomfortable, even though she's smiling fully. So I found that a bit awkward.

Originality:
There's not much for me to say about this, considering how much I wrote for Vision. XD;
There are a lot of pictures across dA just like this, but that doesn't mean anything. It's a nice concept, and even though I've seen it A LOT, I think you've portrayed it quite nicely.

Technique:
What can I say? You are a brilliant traditional artist. It's clean, sharp, nicely done. You've used your copics fully. And 10 hours? That speaks for itself. You can clearly see the effort put into this, so, just like all your other pieces of art, the technique is wonderful.

Impact:
Not sure how to rate this. I'm guessing Impact is referring to the overall effect of this piece, which I think is pretty good. It gives a warm and fuzzy feeling, it makes the viewer smile, so what more is there to be said?

Your one of the few artists who can actually draw a girl with there bangs up without looking like they have a huge forehead. That's just amazing. I love the design of the background. (something I wouldn't be able to even come up with. ) the use of white is magnificent. Overall I just LOVE IT

In one of the critiques, they said that they thought the girl with the black hair was trying to pull away from the other girl, even though she was smiling, but in my opinion, if you look at the direction of their feet, I think it looks like they are walking together.

Multiliners are made by COPIC and are very handy. I have quite a few and they are like permanent markers. You can use them to make drawings final by tracing over an original drawing. Afterwards, you can color it in and it makes the drawing... pop. hope i helped
