Description I am in a bad mood today, and I drew this out of anger...and to point out how Lisa Simpson REALLY feels about Springfield itself.

I decided to not censor her giving everyone, even her own mother, the finger.

Here's why these selected people get on Lisa's nerves:

Skinner-misunderstanding and runs a horrible school.

Ms. Hoover-horrible teacher, duh. Like all the rest.

Mayor Quimby-makes dumb decisions for the town, and shows no real pity for anyone but hot girls.

Mr. Burns-abuses power, buys off almost anything, and wrecks the environment. He's a butthead, deal with it.

Reverend Lovejoy-not much of a priest if he's prejudice against other religions...like say Buddhism?

I added Peter Griffin because I hate him, and no way am I going to let him escape from my fury! Plus, I wanted to add some more humor.

Marge Simpson-far from Lisa's view of a "Perfect Mom". Doesn't understand Lisa, and doesn't seem to think straight.

Don't ask me why I'm 'miffed off'. It's personal. I'm just flaming mad today!

I would be surprised about Marge, but I remember what she said in "She of Little Faith", and what she did in "Paypal".

Not to mention she gets pissed when she learns Lisa doesn't want to "become like her", which shouldn't surprise her.Β

i feel sorry for her living in a town full of idiots who are oblivious and blind to reality what are around them i also hate peter griffin such a unlikeable doucebag you kinda should have added homer makes more sense then marge in my opinion

Β not that i dont agree with you because you nailed that part just that homer or bart they have let her down in a load of ways in the show and they kinda derserves the bird as well not as much as skinner mr burns or peter griffin thoe ignorance might be bliss to some people but to me its bloody annoying

Thank you for putting this up. This really hits close to my heart. It's good to see Lisa as a fully fleshed character who can feel frustration and anger.

I lik to be reminded that when I still watched the show she was my favorite character because she cared and wanted to make things better.

And it sort of bugged me how her parents never seemed to understand her.

It's about time Lisa did this. I'm surprised, though, that Homer and Bart didn't get flipped off in this. Oh well, at least she got the job done.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MetamorphOfChaos [2009-08-27 01:23:09 +0000 UTC]

I would have had her flip off BOTH Marge and Homer, but I had no room for Homer. And Bart may be a jerk, but at least he understands her unlike their parents.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MetamorphOfChaos In reply to Cartuneslover16 [2009-08-27 01:54:59 +0000 UTC]

Respectively, I see and that's true. As Lisa's sibling, Bart should be able to understand what's going on with each others lives especially when involving their parents and Homer would probably fill up beyond the tile or whatever that picture thing is called.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MetamorphOfChaos [2009-08-27 02:01:41 +0000 UTC]

I think you're either referring to a picture frame or void, either works. And, well, seeing that Homer and Marge, along with the other people of Springfield, are the reasons Lisa is so stressed, and is only eight, I thought it would be best that she shows the TRUE her.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MetamorphOfChaos In reply to Cartuneslover16 [2009-08-27 02:20:11 +0000 UTC]

So true. Although I think it's global corruption that really gets her ticked off whether it be poor environmental care, disregard for living things, or bad government acts. Springfield just takes those situations worse since the town is really corrupt and is filled with ignorant people that don't know any better.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MetamorphOfChaos [2009-08-27 02:31:32 +0000 UTC]

And the people in my comic strip are only a few of those ignorant people. When Lisa talks about ways to improve Springfield, the town just ignores her probably because she's eight. But the only people than give in to her ideas are perhaps only Frink, the Buddhist guy that made her a Buddhist, and, of course, Bleeding Gums Murphy, who had died WAY back. See, this is I can get easily upset when watching a Simpsons episode, either Lisa or Bart are made scapegoats when it's really Homer or some other jerk in Springfield. I mean, call me crazy, but I can just imagine Lisa secretly trying to kill Homer. Like that episode, "Homer of Seville", I envisioned it was HER who put that snake in his cereal box and let him think it was his fan/stalker, and she only PRETENDED to be worried. Homer ticks me off somtimes, but not as much as Peter Griffin. I'm nuts, aren't I?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MetamorphOfChaos In reply to Cartuneslover16 [2009-08-27 02:35:51 +0000 UTC]

That's cool. I can see why you think that. Fans get irritated by a character's actions all the time.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MetamorphOfChaos [2009-08-27 02:40:20 +0000 UTC]

Really? My friends think I'm crazy! If you really think so, then let me tell you this about what I envision in Lisa: when Springfieldians are oblivious, she sets out on her 'revenge' and makes each and every person's life miserable...and they have no idea it's her because she's 'the town's cutest sweetheart'! Like that time I imagined she got Hoover arrested because she secretly put pot in her purse. When she had her purse scanned through an airport, she got arrested, and Lisa pretended to be concerned, but deep down, she's laughing!

It can work; it's unlikely, but it can work. After all, with all that stress and intelligence (according to her, the smarter you are, the less happy you are), she probably lost some part of her sanity long ago. So that sort of thing can be explained and therefore possible.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MetamorphOfChaos [2009-08-28 16:19:59 +0000 UTC]

Stress? But if she's stressed through intelligence, that would mean Frink is stressed! But I guess most geniuses get the worse of it.

Hey, don't worry about being mad. I've drawn some very vicious stuff when I'm annoyed.

(personally, I'd have flipped off CBG instead of Lovejoy... but I'm not Lisa)

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MayorAbbey [2009-08-25 20:28:57 +0000 UTC]

Flipping off CBG is Bart or Milhouse's thing.

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MayorAbbey [2009-08-25 22:25:52 +0000 UTC]

Not really. All I know is that you are hating the creators for given the Lovejoys a bad role in Season 20.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MayorAbbey In reply to Cartuneslover16 [2009-08-26 11:25:41 +0000 UTC]

I also hate them for using CBG so damn much when they could be giving the Lovejoys better roles (and putting him on the season 12 cover doesn't help).

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MayorAbbey [2009-08-26 17:44:11 +0000 UTC]

Oh, yeah, I saw the cover. I'm the Lovejoys will have there chance to probably be on a cover. And plus Season 21 is coming soon.

Cartuneslover16 In reply to MayorAbbey [2009-08-26 19:29:01 +0000 UTC]

Well, judging by one of the titles, I'd say Bart gets a REALLY bad grade.
