Pang, Shatter, Crack, Shriek, Burst, Shrill, Scatter.
Loud, Ear-Piercing, Fragments spilling.
Lies dropping, dripping, slipping, seaping, creeping.
Destroy. Damage. Danger. Dare it.
Look out. Look up. Look away.
Heads up. Head down. Turn around. Hide away.
Shrill, the spill; the shattering, splattering, scattering glass at your feet on the doormat that welcomes you home.

yes that is very very true.
i always look at things that way and always deny the feeligns that went into this piece.
but for once, i just had to give myself permission to let these feelings out that still exist instead of denying them entirely and thinking "i'm better than that" "i'm not a defeatist" ... but the bottom half helped me justify the reason for the thoughts on the top half that reside in my mind whether i want them to or not

This is beautiful, I love it.

I know what you mean, but you can't spend all of your time dwelling on the pains that others are going through; they must endure them, and you can be there for support, but you cannot cradle them forever in your heart, or you will hurt yourself. I know because I myself have done this. Sometimes you just have to let go and let your own happiness warm up the air around you.

wow, so so true -- and few people have the strength to admit that or speak that truth for fear of sounding selfish or uncaring -- but it's the exact opposite. only when you take care of yourself can you effectively be there for anyone else, and only then (when you're well-taken care of) can you clearly decipher whether someone ELSE is worth or truth in need of your help or if they're just going to take you down with them.

I try to see past the falsehoods that people hide themselves behind, but I am always there for people when they need me, even though sometimes it hurts me more... I have to back away at times to reassess my surroundings, but then I am there.
I hope you have someone there for you. I know that there's nothing worse than feeling horrible and having no one to talk to. If you ever need to talk, I'm here.

that's such and admirable quality to possess; the ability to pretty regularly be able to balance and even assess your surroundings at ALL to know where you need to stand -- whether you should back away, it's safe to give, or could even afford to "take" a bit for yourself. so many can't even come remotely close to doing that or een knowing the SHOULD be able to do that for themselves.

what i find most amazing?
is that you pay attention, see, notice, even acknowledge the importance of those images and details. so many so the whole and pass by; and while the details are clear and self-evident, few even notice them.
you do.
that makes me feel heard. seen. not ignored and invalidated.

...i've actually done about seven massive "art therapy" style pieces like this recently, jam packed with explosive meaning and feeling -- i just haven't uploaded them. and then i actually DID take them into art tx anyway, and then she held onto them, so i can't clicky-clicky them to load 
...i saw she's nuts.
