Black kept pace with the merchant. He really hated seeing all these pokemon having been neglected by previous owners. The merchant, however, was doing an extremely brilliant job at caring for them. Perhaps if he couldn't adopt he could offer a donation. Being a PI previously had it's perks. The money was quite good.
He was new to shadow pokemon, but he did have his own back home. A shadow Dodou.
While he was lost in thought, watching the pokemon he felt something tug roughly at his side.

"Grrr-rrrr" A Mightyena was tugging at his bag. It looked a bit roughed up. She had a notch in her ear and a few small scars on her body.
"rrrr!"

"Hey now!" Black whirled around to hold up his bag.
"That's rude."

"MI!" She barked out. "EN-EN!" She circled trying to get at the bag again.

"Ok ok. Just hold on now. I'll give it you, but I want to keep my bag intact!"
He pushed on her head gently forcing her into a sit.
"Stay..." He held up a hand while fishing through the bag. "Ah. I see."
He pulled out the sandwich that he made for his trip today.

The yena's butt lifted up off the ground, wagging her tail excitedly and licking her lips.
"Mi! Mi mi mi!"

"Ah-ah. Nooo sit."

She sat.

"Good! Will you shake?" He held open his one hand waiting for her paw.

She arched her brows and looked at his hand. She nosed it lightly and lifted up her front paw and placed it in his.
"yena..."

"Good GIRL!" He exclaimed and gave her a lot of praise. "Heh, you deserve it."
He held out the treat and let her take it.

She gave him a small lick on his hand and gently took it from him. Once it was in her mouth she snapped her head back and wolfed it down.

The merchant had their hands full. Black was about to go rush in to help but the voice rung in his head.
~"P-please wait here, I'll be back soon..!"~

He stayed with the Mightyena a bit longer, rubbing the back of her ears which she seemed to enjoy while looking around. He spotted a path. That feeling taking over again. He felt he was being pulled in.
Before he knew it his feet were moving and going down the path.
He didn't notice that the Mightyena he befriended sat and gave a small whine waiting for him to return.

NAME: Harper MADISON (Mads) DELTA

Personality: The Mightyena would be pretty fierce. She's tough and big and she knows it. I'd alter her design a bit to add a chip in her ear and her main to be more like a faux mohawk. She'd be the "Bad girl you don't bring home to your mama" She would be a lighter brawler but still powerful. I think it would be cute for her to build a relationship with my Bronx the Nidorino.
She'd have a British accent.
