Description

Originally this was for ass event but I missed out on it RIP
so I'm going to cash in on some coin and Lvs.

"Thank you for seeing me Mr.Black. I know things have gotten so out of hand with everything going on."

"Just Lee. Please."

He held up a hand lightly to pause the younger man on the other side of his table. His eyes were slightly puffy and red from crying no doubt.

"Lee. Right. Sorry."

"Like I told you over the phone, my husband is missing. He's a journalist for the Issho Times paper and he's been missing for 3 days now. He said he wanted to get on the inside of what's going on about the new vaccine and the influx of the pokemon. I know it doesn't sound long at all but I have this gut wrenching feeling something terrible has happened to him!"

His voice cracked at the last sentence sounding like another wave of tears were behind the dam of his eyes ready to break free again.

Black held up a hand to pause the young man and hopefully to give him some comfort.

"Normally 3 days is supposed to be the limit to wait ."

He pulled open the side drawer of his desk and placed a decanter of whisky, two glasses and a note pad. He placed the glasses on the top of the desk and poured the whiskey in, sliding one of them over before the man could protest.

"Thank you."
He choked back tears with a swallow of the whiskey. His face tightened turning red and coughed a few times.
"It's strong."
He placed the empty glass down and cleared his throat.

"I'll need all the basics. Name, age, height, weight, eye and hair color. Last seen wearing. Other details that you think could help."
He scribbled a few notes on the side of the pad.

A soft click and the signature "Bweeep" noise came from inside the man's bag.
The red light poured out and formed a small wolf cub pokemon. A Zorua.
He yawned and shook his head, his great big ears flapping against the sides.

He looked up taking in his surroundings. A chair with his owners mate was next to him and a huge desk before him. He heard a soft shuffle and a pink snout poking from around the corner, followed by a large blue head of a Nidoran.

Pipa, narrowed her already beady red eyes and the pup.
"Who are you?" she grunted.

"I - I'm Kabuki. My owner is-"
He was cut off as he was lifted into the air and placed on the desk.

The purple haired man scratched his goatee and spoke softly.
"He's very small and young I don't want to be held responsible if anything happens to him."

"Please Mr Bl - Lee." The man corrected. "I believe Kabuki can help find him. He just always knows. If anything happens to him I won't hold you responsible I swear." He was chocking back tears again.

"Alright." Lee held up a hand. "I'll have to ask you to sign a waiver for legal issues. I take half payment now and half once the job is over. Should I not return for whatever reason I have people you can reach for a full refund listed in the contract."
He let out a soft sigh.
"I have to be completely honest with you. This is a very dangerous time. You- You might not like the out come."

The man nodded softly.
"I-I know. I'm ready to accept it. I just- I just need to know for certain."

Lee walked the man out of his office and closed the door once they were done. He slid back into his chair and poured himself another drink. He pulled open his drawer and took out a file opening it. Inside was a photo of a pink haired female and a phone number along with a few information sheets. He dialed up the number. After 3 rings the other side picked up to a females voice.

"Lee? Hey uh, surprised to hear from you what's going on?"

"Hey Fi. I need to ask a favor."

The sun had started to set. When Lee spotted the small group gathered on the bench next to the Slowpoke play fountain.
The air was brisk and a slight chill was coming on. Issho was in full fall.

Lee brought Harper, his Mightyena. With her jacket and slight "attitude" she would fit as a member of the infamous Zepher team. He knew they were trouble but he and Fi did have a good relationship with each other. She brought him a Scraggy months ago to take in. The others were new. He walked up to the bench with Harper while Kabuki ran around playing in leaves.

"Black!" Fi chirped. "You made it! Great!"

Her shiny mudkip and an infected marshtomp stood before her.

He didn't know how she planned on getting him into their good graces of "joining" for his rescue mission but he'd go along with anything.

The member in the helmet who went by "Banshee" sat legs folded on the bench holding a mime Jr in their lap while another older member with Pidgey eye markings leaned over the back of it to be between the two with a melan Archen on his shoulder.

"BOORRK" A guttural bark came from another infected pokemon, this time a Popplio.

Black knew about the infection and how bad it was. Esu had a slew of her own she was working on and so did he. Zepher was different however. They wanted or would keep infected pokemon since they were known to be stronger and more violent.

"Hey Fi." He nodded his head to the others.
Less he would have to speak the better. Let her take the reigns on this one.

"Black is my cousin." She lied. "With all that's been going on he's interested in joining the group. He knows a thing or two about shadow pokemon. So he won't need any training."

The Pidgey marked member furrowed his brows lightly.
"You never mentioned you had a cousin."

"I've never mentioned anything." She stated.

"How do we know he can be trusted?" A strange muffled and electric filtered voice came from the "Banshee".

"Because I said so. That's why." Fi stated again.

Small barks of joy came from behind him and the group.
Kabuki was running around barking at yet another member of the Zepher team. She looked almost like a witch in her outfit with it's cape and large pointy hat.
"He has my vote! Anyone with the cutest pup in the world is ok by me Fi!"

Maybe this could work…
