Xenoblade Chronicles 3 vs Fate/Stay Night
Track Name: Our Failed Selves

Two alternative versions of a character coming from different times (N being a past reincarnation of Noah and Archer being a future version of Shirou Emiya) who are considerably more nihilistic and cinic.

They became like this after having their ideals broken, being forced to kill nonstop and being contracted by a entity who have very loose ideas of how to save their world (Z, who thinks that making a forever war is the way to keep the universe, and the Counter Force, who thinks that is okay sometimes to do a little bit of genocide to save humanity)

They are antagonistic and wish to kill the main character, mostly because they want to prove a point (N wanting to prove that Noah would have also done the same choices he did if he went through the same and Archer wanting to show that Shirou`s ideals about being a hero of justice are basically shit and contradictory) but fail at that

They, after their final battles, decide to accept the main protagonists and help them kill the main villain (Consul Z and Gilgamesh)

They both have a relationship with a girl (Consul M and Rin Tohsaka) who they love/care for and do anything they can for them, wit
h a contrast in that M is miserable while Rin isnt
