Funny how the light comes from behind the trees. makes the scenery look like it's inside a box. Like in computer games a few years ago.

Whoa...you must have had to walk quite a ways back to get that photo...I could have sworn that there's a drop to the road below past the parking lot at that place. Yep, been there...unfortunately my photos of the falls were in three takes.

Thanks!!1 and no i didnt have to walk far at all.. you are right, you go thru an underpass that drops down a bit, and i took the pic right past that near the restaurant/giftshop... i still have to learn how to use this digital camera, so hopefully i can take better pics next spring..lol

You're very welcome. It's been a while since I was there, but I know that the Columbia River also had to have been not far off south from where you were taking the pic of the falls.

That had to be awesome being there, taking in the sights. "Multnomah Falls" Where is that? I might need to add that to the list of places I need to see... when I can afford it...
