I made a deal with that I would try to have a new picture done by today, so here it is! I worked with this over the span of...gosh, a week? Two weeks? I dunno, it took a damned long time!

This was something of a challenge I gave myself. I wanted to fully digitally color a picture, lines and all, as I've not done that in a few months. It was difficult, but I think it was worth the effort.

Unsurprisingly, this is a scene from the RP (now titled "9 United" C: Spiffin', eh?). Actually, it has to do with how Fab-1 came to be...which shall be revealed in its entirety at a later date in some manner of fanfic or such-forth.

All you much know for now is this shady gentleman, Maelstrom, made a deal with 1 to save his life from a pretty nasty soul virus (a "virus" of sorts that attaches itself to the soul and slowly detaches it from the body). And let's just say the process was very, very painful I absolutely love Maelstrom, so I wanted to do some lovely arts of him doing what he does best: being devious and epic.

Poor 1. He gets abused so damned badly in this RP.

The title is a reference to "Friends on the Other Side". It fits the scene so damned well, fer srs. And, as mentioned in another piece, Maelstrom's VA is Keith David.
