WHO LOVES JURASSIC PARK?! MEEEEE!I've been pulled into the whirl pool of people raving about Jurassic World. So I've been looking at dino images and even playing the classic simulation game - Jurassic Park Operation Genesis. This is fan art inspired by the T-Rex from that game (the colouring mainly) but ultimately it is inspired by the original movie and the upcoming movie!
I really hope that movie lives up to all our expectations. Dinosaurs made my childhood as well as dragons, but I haven't done any in so long. Thought I might be a bit rusty on drawing a T-Rex, but in the short space of 5 hours I think it turned out quite nice. Nothing major, just a simple rendering I did on the 1st of December 2014. I felt subconsciously that it was expected of me to do this, since Jurassic World is on its way. SO EXCITED!!!

Yeah me too. However this time the dinos are CG and not done like they did them in the past where they were almost real.

Yes. I have to agree. The puppets and robots were so realistic. I have heard that they've used some of the robotics in the new movie but I'm not sure if that's true. Either way there is still a lot of CG and I hope they are able to make it look better.

Some of the CG when taken with great care can come out beautiful. For example like the movie walking with dinosaur 2013

Yeah it can be, like the flying dragon like aliens in the movie Avatar. The Ikran I think. I fell in love with those creatures.
