Description
Took this from the same spot on top of the Tokyo Tower, some 5 years since my last visit here where I took the same shot:Same same, but different.
5 years. A lot has happened during this time and a lot has changed.
Tokyo, however, stays the same -- the same madness, the same insomnia, the same ever-changing-ness.
An oxymoron, I know. But it's the most magical kind of oxymoron you can ever hope for.

I've had many a cold Asahi in the cafe there and watched the world go by. The last time I went up it snowed. It was amazing to watch the huge swirling masses of snow wrap around the tower. Mori Tower is good for shots like this, and when complete the Tokyo Sky Tree will be awesome to shoot from!

Mmmmm Asahi... I would say that's my favourite beer in the world, but perhaps that's got something to do with the adventures I've had drinking them...

Kirin Draft is my preference. Asahi though seems to be all that's available up there (besides bad coffee). And in my books bad japanese coffee is worse than a hangover!

"Ever-changing-ness"...nice term. Describes both the photo and the city (and every city this size i suppose)

This pictures clearer the older one has an awesome tone going on. But either way, the perspective is just amazing. Good work

i tried using one of those gorillapods, but ended up just propping it on the handrail, again
