Description  2nd Place , I'm going home a loser with this lineless test xD

FINISHED!! Managed to finish the background and added quite the sky! In the left corner there is just the edge of the stands.

Jockeys, silks and tack added.

I think I was a bit ambitious with this, it's taking me forever... The hardest part is the tack and riders of the other contestants since I don't know what their tack or colours will be until they do their entries...

Ah well, it's coming alone, I hope it pays of!

____

This was one of the biggest races of Epona's carrier. Since moving from G1J to HARPG the filly had taken an alarmingly long time to maiden and qualify for the qualifiers to the Breeder's Cup. But finally, just days before the race registration opened, Epona brought back a first place and be an her training for the Jockey Club's Win-And-You're-In, Jockey Club Gold Cup International.

The weather was not on their side. Thunderstorms - heavy rain, thunder and impressive lightening - rolled over the Belmont track. Last time Epona had raced in poor weather she narrowly avoided a slip and fall and the filly was somewhat more angsty than the Antrium team was used to seeing her. Antrium horses were no strangers to thunderstorm, in fact, some colts and fillies had trouble sleeping if the sound of rain on the rooftops was absent. Epona was no different, born and bred in Scotland, during training she had no problems, but the long flight had made her tense and moody and Amalie could feel her muscles twitching beneath the saddle.

One thing in their favour was that the track was dirt, not turf, this time - Epona had been more tippy-toey for days after her slip on the wet grass and had gained confidence in leaps and bounds on dirt track.

The familiar chimera Colt stood in the gates beside them, Amalie giving her friend a curt nod in greeting and a silent 'Good luck, Harley' before focusing on her frisky mare. As soon as the gates flew open Epona charged out with the power of an ox, almost throwing Amalie from the saddle with the shear force of her lunge. The ginger grappled with her mane before refinding her balance and fighting with the wild bay, in more ways than one, to keep her back to her usual place in the pack. Epona wasn't listening to her much, her long legs pounding through the dirt, urged on by the thundering clouds and heavy breathing of the other horses. Amalie managed to keep a rein on her for the most part and was rather nervous about what would happen in the final stretch, when she'd release Epona and let her surge forward without restraint...

Amalie and Ben will take up your offer to visit FHF for a while once the race season ends, so Ben better meet Waylon xD that and AS has a lot of photos of Dragon and Isis, we thought FHF might like some copies

basically, a sketchy comic that doesn't have tremendous effort put into since its me and I hate doing comics....

This is incredible! (And it's not even done - can't wait to see the final image...)
And as Cap pointed out, saddle cloth colours and jockey silks are the little icons by each horse's name in the entry list if that helps you out. Otherwise I stalk people galleries to see there horse's normal turnout.

and thank you!

<3 Aww This looks amazing, if it helps with Dollars he'll be in his standard tack (hood, shadow roll) and he will have a blue #3 saddle cloth. ^_^

Saddle cloth colors are assigned in the event, you can see them next to their names for their registration numbers Win-And-You're-Win II . And yes just like that! ^_^
