The current full spread of finished roses all together.

The pastel blue/purple ones in the lower left are the ones I started with, testing out how they would look before buying any more clay colors to work with. Those four flowers are made with original Sculpey (white) mixed with Sculpey Premo in turquoise and Sculpey III violet, about half 'n half white with each, then half 'n half of both those mixes to make the shading between the two. My favorite of this first experimental batch isn't on display here, it's right here: [link]

Behind and to the right of those are all neon bright mixes. These are for my mother, who loves neon before all other colors. Personally I don't care for the brightest shades of neon at all, and my favorites of this batch are those two blue/purple blends on the right, followed by the fushia blend to the left of those two. Likely I'll settle on making some reddish bright roses for her as well as more of the orange ones, because I know my mother loves those shades. (shakes head, smiles)

I =do= like how the blends are coming out. And that the blooms are coming out mostly the same size. Detail shots to come.
