The day had come, they were to pick up their newest stallion.

He was a gorgeous Appalossa Hanoverian cross. Hannah was excited, Aviator, the same cross, is an amazing horse, so she had high hopes for the new guy.

He had almost no training--six years old and he could barely canter under saddle. He sure was going to be a project.

Hope was the sweetest boy, and the neglect he received had not changed that fact.

Hannah walked up to the paddock where he was kept, a lime green sheet over him, the day was unusually cold. He trotted up to her with a smile on his face. "Let's go boy" She said, stroking his forehead, "It's time to come home"
