Gypsy is growing up!

Gypsy stood in the paddock that she grew up in, performing her daily routine. She walked out of her lean-to and stuck her head in the water bucket, sucking down some huge gulps. Then she sauntered over to the pile of hay, wrestled a few bites out of the huge hay mountain, and left the food alone.

She walked to the other side of her paddock and raised her head over the fence. A couple hundred feet away was the main outdoor ring. Jumps were set up throughout it, bright pops of color against the dull sand.

She would follow this same schedule every day--water, food, and watching. Most of her time was spent looking over that fence, watching the horses work in the ring.

Each time Caroline came down to feed her, Gypsy would hop up and down, as if saying "My turn to go? My turn to go?!" But it never was. Sure, she got out to do her halter and lunge line training, but what she longed for was the jumping.

She had grown bored with the lunging. After a week or so she had the entire system figured out, and she longed for something more exciting.

She would watch Megan training Moon, jumping higher than the birds could fly, and she would bob her head up and down to the beat of Moon's canter as she flew by.

She was so ready to start her career, and little did she know, she was about to get her wish. She was a little shy of three years old, and finally, Hannah decided, it was time to start her under saddle.

Had these lines sitting around for a while, finally decided to use them!
