My march submission for Endangered Art Project 2012 [link]

European bison (Bison bonasus):
"It's similar in appearance to its North American relative (Bison bison). Although smaller in size, it has the characteristic thickset body shape with a short neck and a pronounced shoulder hump. The dense coat is dark to golden brown in colour, but is less shaggy than that of the American bison. Both sexes bear short horns that project outwards and then curve up." from here [link]
(Last year they were over 1000 (from over 4000) european bisons in Poland )

Endangered because of the habitat lost and hunting.
