I'm satisfied with the shading on this one. And you know what else? She LOOKS like Miranda Otto! Yay! Her hair's inspired by Muccha's wonderful Art Neauveau (agh! Can't spell French!) posters. Didn't have a reference on her dress so the neckline's a little off. But after finishing this one, I felt as if I've redeemed myself from my first drawing of her and Faramir ^_^ Now you're probably wondering why most of my graphite artwork has been modified as monochrome brown. Basically...it gives it this really nice, classic, bookish feel...kinda like using brown contes or pastels.
