We have such a similar tortie named Abby. Same poofie tail, half-face, adn the front paw, is even a "half-coloured"...
We saved Abby when she was a 3 month old kitten separated from her litter... she was starved and full of all kinds of... issues... it was scary to foster her, because she was back and forth between death and and life for at least two more months... a year later she is extremely healthy now! This is one of our good stories!

Aw, I'm so glad that your Abby overcame all the difficulties and became a healthy cat!
Tortie is one of my most favorite stray cats.
Also one of the oldest, strays here rarely survive after 2 or 3 years old.
She is beautiful, and I wish I could find her a loving home.
She has already survived two poison attempts that costed the life of about 40-50 animals.
But she's extremely hard to approach.
After almost 1 and a half year, she allows me to be close to her without disappearing but if anyone else approaches, she's instantly gone.
