Impressive capture. This is not an extraordinary sight, in fact, some people might find it repulsive, but you have turned it into something truly magical. The level of detail and clarity makes this a fantastic shot!
Since ladybugs on posts aren't exactly the most exciting thing, they're not really photographed that often. I mean, compare this type of picture to sunsets. One clearly has the majority. But not only did you take a unique picture; you also did it well, which is, in my opinion, above and beyond. Talented photographers are able to do this sort of thing, and you should be proud to count yourself as one of them.
I really love the detail in the wood β the grains and knots are beautiful, especially in the contest of ladybugs on 'em. I think it's great that the wood is rounded, I don't know why but it seems important to me. The ladybugs themselves are really well done, and it almost seems as though the one that you've focused on posed for you or something, because it's angled perfectly for this picture.
The only suggestion I have is to increase the depth of field. I like the lack of focus in the back, but the front is a bit too out of focus. In particular, the big knot in the foreground would look a lot better if it was in focus. That might be just a personal thing.
