I use a crochet hook as you don't get the same grip on the wire with knitting needles, but it's a knitting stitch. It does take longer than with yarn because I not only have to be careful about the tension, but as my stitches are not on needles, they can unravel which means I can't just go in a fluid motion. It's a bit hard to explain, sorry

This is amazing, I should really try wire knitting some time. Maybe when I get home and find my needles (I found some in a thrift shop the other day but was too airheaded to actually buy them :/ )
