Description NOT MY ACTUAL ENTRY for 's contest.

...but it could be! I'm trying out a few different ideas for an Alternate Isabella costume/theme (as inspired by the character designs for Phineas & Ferb: Across The Second Dimension movie (!) that comes out circa August 2011). Once I have a few ideas submitted, I'll poll you guys to help me decide which one I should make into my real entry.

Concept #1: Noir Isabella

I love me some film noir. This picture made itself in a one-way bus trip (as opposed to the usual two to get a sketch done). The concept is really simple, but still sublime IMO. The film appears to have a sci-fi angle, but nothing's cooler than Sci-Fi/Noir as a genre.

I'm such a sucker for a that classic film noir look. I need to watch more 40s movies now...

There definitely are several possibilities for Alternate dimension Isabella. She could easily be a spy, some wartime soldier, or like a war general. Now, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that the contest will be loaded with several of these easily thought up forms of Isabella (most likely the spy version because of how appealing it sounds). More to the point, I think I'm going to try to take the path less traveled for this contest. I'm sure you're doing the same?

Yep, I always look at the plotholes in the contest rules.

This morning before work, I did a sketch of a spy Isabella in a catsuit, which was fun, even if predictable. But for the sake of the contest, I'm trying to create a memorable entry.

I'll tinker with a few more ideas before I submit my actual entry.

Sounds like a good plan.
I actually have managed to come up with a semi-original idea for the contest. Just one at the moment, but it really doesn't seem like something that most other people would come up with. I based a string of slightly plausible theories together off of one fact related to the movie that I read on the Phineas and Ferb Wiki, so I think it'll be a lone idea in the contest.

Speaking of the contest rules, I noticed an interesting loophole. It says that you are allowed one entry per deviant account right? So, that means one could technically make several accounts and submit several entries. I plan to be virtuous though, so I'll only be submitting one entry.

Yeah, making a bunch of one-time accounts seems like too much work for a loophole. Besides, I'm not in it for the prizes. I just want to enter the contest so more people will see my stuff.

Best of luck to you in the contest just the same!

It doesn't seem like all that much work actually. It just seems really sneaky.

Thanks, good luck to you too.

So...the wrench was used by an evil scientist in a lab coat. He used the wrench on the evidence. So the evidence is likely to be a metallic object, something that needs to be screwed shut. And the blood is likely to result from him losing his grip and inadvertently cutting his hand...or...perhaps the evidence is a living thing, and in an attempt to destroy the evidence, he hit it with the wrench, causing it to bleed...um, that's kind of gross...I don't think I want to play detective anymore.

Can you even "cut" yourself with a wrench?

No, but you could certainly bash your forehead in.
