Description The way my mind works is scary sometimes...this is just a crossover/cosplay picture of Bubbles (Powerpuff Girls) as Bubble Man (Mega Man 2 on NES). I must say, it was quite fun (if very strange) to draw!

Official artwork reference for Bubble Man: [link]
Bubble Man sprites were lovingly cut from a screenshot of Mega Man 2 by yours truly.

Oh yeah, and the title refers to the game itself. When you beat Bubble Man and gain his special ability, the game literally says: "YOU GOT BUBBLE-LEAD." Make up your own explanation.

Seems appropriate when she's trying to go hardcore.

No problem! I didn't know you were a fan of MEGA MAN! I always thought that Disney's Teamo Supremo and The Powerpuff Girls would work well as Mega Man clone video games.

Oh, I'm a HUGE fan of the first MegaMan games: 1-6! I spent years as a kid mastering them all...

I'm not very good at the MegaMan games. I do love the first 6 games on the NES/Famicom, as well as the 5 games on the original Game Boy. To tell you the truth, I think Powerpuff Girls and MegaMan combined together would be a perfect idea! Why can't the Powerpuff Girls games on the Game Boy look and use the same aspects as the Mega Man games on the same system? The games would've been great! In fact I have a good idea that would be based off of Mega Man 5 for the Game Boy, but different. You play as the Powerpuff Girls, but instead of the Stardroids, you fight Lauren Faust's "Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls", since both the Stardroids and the Galaxy Girls have the same names as the planets of the Solar System! Each stage will have a certain Galaxy Girl leading it, and once you defeat one of them, you will get their ability. The Galaxy Girls truly did'nt want to fight against them, since they rather like to party and have fun, but HIM, forced them to fight against the Powerpuff Girls, or else he will revive their universe's destroyer- SUNSTAR and kill them. In the end, the Galaxy Girls team up with the Powerpuff Girls to stop HIM once and for all. HIM finally dies, but as his final act, he already revived SUNSTAR, and orders SUNSTAR to destroy The Powerpuff Girls as well as the Galaxy Girls. A battle to determine the fate of the universe ensues, and the Powerpuff Girls finally manage to destroy SUNSTAR once and for all using the power given to them by the Galaxy Girls. So what do you think? Good idea, huh?

If you don't know who the Galaxy Girls are, here is the creator's own DeviantART page:

Not a bad idea, actually. And that would make an excellent inside joke to have Craig's creations versus Lauren's creations, too!

I used to play "challenge games", specifically on MegaMan 6, where I would force myself to play the entire game using only the JET and POW adapters, and see how long it took me to finish. I think it I had it down to only half an hour at one point! ;D

Trust me, I was TERRIBLE on the Megaman games, but I loved them. I'm glad you liked my idea! Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust are a pretty heavy part of my inspiration, and I love their work. However their work worried me at first because MOSTLY GIRLS and FEMALES liked their work.

Catula In reply to MysticArk [2010-01-31 01:23:46 +0000 UTC]

No need to worry! Craig's original pilot for "The Whoopass Girls" was actually more intended for high school and college kids; he had no idea his show would be so popular with young girls!

Well, I love cartoons made for EVERYONE, and for kids mostly. My cartoon that I'm trying to create is for everybody- Both kids AND adults! Actually, Craig and Lauren are a VERY HEAVY part of my inspiration.

If those cartoons are your aim, you should definitely check out everything that starts with "Steven Spielberg presents". Animaniacs, Pinky & The Brain, Tiny Toons, Freakazoid, Histeria...all of them at first glance are crazy kids' shows, but if you watch closely, you'll see all kinds of adult jokes and pop culture references!

Thanks, the coloring was actually REALLY easy.
