IMPORTANT NOTE: Ever since I submitted My little Pony-fanart I got comments about how 'disgusted' or 'intimidated' people are by my style but seriously: What the hay?! I mean, I don't draw them mutilated, covered in blood, having sex, slaughtering each other or in nazi outfits. So what's so bad about my style? I understand it doesn't appeal to everyone and it's not perfect but gross and disgusting?Sorry, but that's exaggerated. There is so much tacky art here on dA. And even that's fine. I don't say anything about other peope's art and style as long as its not some tasteless nazi artwork or racist, what I truly consider offending.
I am not butthurt or something, I just wanted to make this clear. Stupid comments won't stop me from enjoying pony artwork. Otherwise I would be wrong here.

The colouring took longer than I wanted and I guess I overdid the sparkling but I simply love this piece

Well, it is said in the series that he had the head of a horse
But I must admit if I draw him he always gets this kind of face^^ I've tried to give him a more donkey-ish head with a higher forehead but somehow... he doesn't want to be drawn like that

From what I learned at the art program at my school, cute things kill an artist or something like that. But, to be honest, like I've stated a lot of MLP artist don't know their anatomy, while you do.

They do? Really? Well, I think there is no style of art that should be bashed. My art teachers did that, too but I think it's wrong. Whatever an artist wants to draw and in what style, what he or she wants to achieve by practise is what they want and there is nothing wrong with that
