On the one hand my ticket was free and I got to see it ahead of others (and yet still no art uploads about it for three months BWAHAHAHA!**) but on the other hand SECURITY WAS WEIRD.WEIRD.
Thatβs the Winnipeg premiere BTW, real red carpet event there.
**People who came to Ai-Kon already got a preview though.

Depends on what you mean by true. Nothing in this comic actually happened at the Winnipeg premier other then that there was a lot of people dressed as Thor. And one person dressed as Loki at the Opera. But that person wasn't turned way or anything. 
I'm sure there were other costumes but that's what stood out, the large number of Thor's gathered together.Β
Basiclly if you got a ticket, you got in. No costume needed. Β The tickets did say come dressed as your favourite Avenger, but that was just to get extra swag.

Real tight security. First there's a coat check for electronics. Then a bag search for electronics, then metal detectors things to search again for the electronics. But come lights out, you can still see peoples cellphone lights.
