Finally! this took me about 7 hours give or take. I am pretty happy, although I think I want to learn how to do better backgrounds and effects. Back to cel-shading lol. I think DBZ requires it. Also it seems to need at least 3-5 shades (which takes more time)

Anyway this is a concept for SSJ2 Trunks. Basically he becomes far more powerful (obviously), his hair stands up almost completely upright (similar to SSJ2 Gohan)

As for the story: When fighting Mecha-Frieza Trunks has a bit more trouble than he thought he would. So the Z-Fighters waiting on the hill step in to give the mysterious super-saiyan some help (much to Vegeta's disgust) They are beaten one by one, as if Frieza was toying with them. This angers Trunks as he may not be able to achieve his goals to save the future. This triggers his SSJ2 state.
