Description -------
A maquette done for class. I know how to make bases now- I should've been using them before this, geeze.

The wings and texture are fail, but the rest is okay I guess.

10" tall, Polymer clay on metal armature, wooden base.

Woah, really cool. I was not expecting that human face there, very dramatic spinning photographs. :3 Lovely details too, those wings=insane.

Wow, actually, I really like the detail in the wings! Is this from Character Design and Storyboarding for Animation?

...If you have a quarter where you can squeeze a really challenging class in, you should really consider Conceptual Maquette Design with John Larison. It's really intense but quite good, and if you really want to learn about serious maquette sculpting, Larison is a guy you'll want to talk to. :3

Looks like it can use a little polishing, but otherwise it's a very cool sculpt. Nice work!
