*** Peyto Lake with Caldron Peak on the left and Mt Patterson in the back, Alberta, Canada - October 2015 ***Peyto Lake is one of the "must-sees" on the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic mountain roads of the world, which connects Jasper with Lake Louise in the Rocky Mountains.

I took the photograph on the morning after "chasing" the northern lights and had almost no sleep, so I must admit that I drove up all the way and missed the walk up.

That sounds like a great plan. Looking back to the first few months of my travels, I'm asking myself now if I shouldn't have gone up further north. But then, I had lots of great adventures and maybe it just wasn't the right time for me to do so... Another day. Hopefully!
