for your first this looks great! i dare say i started on a lower level than that. incase you intend to keep going with this just a little critique:
the texture is nice and subtle but may need a higher resolution (this goes for the close as well as the far planet). in addition the atmosphere on the planets is a little heavy. i'd maybe add some color and use a higher radius of glow on the inside and a smaller radius on the outside.

No, srsly. PS Elements 6 doesn't have enough of the right tools or whatever to make really good space art.
