Mermaids have become quite a popular theme for me this year. I believe I have done about 8 different sketches during this year's convention season. This particular fan wanted a similar pose to the print he bought. I do not like to copy work, especially my own. I not only changed her body posture a bit, I made her tale differently. Based on the clients desire to have it almost repeat my blonde version I did little details that made me feel more comfortable doing it.

I would not like to categorize this as a new piece, but rather an homage to my other one. I did get paid, so I cannot feel too upset. The client was more than happy with the end product.
