Doing a commission for Panelsonpages.com
Every month the site posts a fan girl, interviews them and highlights a few photos of what they look like. They also produce a calendar each year highlighting the Fangirls of the month. The calendar features a photo and an accompanied professional illustration that best represents that person and their interests.

This year I was commissioned to work with the lovely and talented Tanya Tate. Visit her website at [link]
Anyways, this is the first of possibly a long professional relationship with her.

This calendar piece is going to be my stylized artwork. The next piece will be a commission personally requested by her, most likely in a realism style, pencils, inks, not sure about that one yet.

Problem:
Tanya has a soft spot for the worlds of Sid and Marty Krofft, so for her page, we're looking to showcase some of that. the idea we had been tlking about would be her half-dressed in her Electra-Woman costume, startled by the audience. She's grabbed one of those crazy Lidsville hats up to her chest to cover herself, and it's giving her lovey-dovey eyes while she smiles at us. We could put the Puffinstuff whistle in there, too, somewhere. There's a LOT of places we could go with this and it should be a lot of fun.

Solution: see for yourself. This is one of three full-size renderings I did after several thumbnails. The final will be on 11 x 14 inch board. Once she approves this, I will move onto my final pencils, inks, and colors.
