here is the latest update on Gypsy... a slightly larger update than last time.I kept the trims like everyone thought and added them to the boot top as well to tie it in better. I made some refinements to general areas as well as adding in the socks,s boots and bandana.
I dont like the blank 'band' in the middle of the sleeve and plan to do something with that... maybe a small belt thing there with the Rose motif or a red material part again with the rose design. thoughts on that are welcomed.
Yet to do.. detailings, the bandana was meant to have a pattern on it.. not sure how that will look so i wil test it first an see what you all think. Otherwise its just the sword and a few small details to go
all crits and comments are welcome.
also.. I am deliberately leaving the background plain.. it will be a collab and Ben is tasked to make her a background

thankyou.. I spent ages on the fabrics its one thing I can do quite well if i set my mind to it so i do try I think the red fabrics are among the best ive done for a long time. And I am sure you will feel more happy painting fabrics the more you do them

actually I realised it was you when you replied... I thought it was some other artist because of the style... probably also due to the character. Resembles another piece. nvm, I'm gonna confuse myself further if I think to much.

Her white top is very nice. The wrinkles in it really show the kind of cloth used. After really looking at this picture I realized though what was bothering me. Her left breast is a bit too..bulbous on the side next to her arm. I think it should hang a bit more considering their size..

im glad you like it.. with reguards to the changes of the chest.. it used to be much lower down and it looked very wrong I see what you are saying and may try a few more tweaks to it and see how it looks so thankyou for the insight there, it is much appreciated.

hehe Gypsy infact is my first large piece since well a long time and even then she is actually an old piece which i dregged up after months of gathering cobwebs in the my pictures folder -_- haha now she is going to be a collab piece for university... fun fun.
