At long last! I declare this character finished! She got put on the backburner while I painted Sahwo for my uncle Ricko but after that I went back to her and here is the end result.A ref was used to help with the body, this is noted on the original sketch. The stock image belongs to and I would post you the link to the image itself.. but it seems to have been taken out of her gallery.. I searched the whole thing. Lindowyn.. if you find 'Lonely Lil' Cowgirl' let me know and I will post the link for it here.
Anywho its taken ages to get this done but I am really pleased with the final results. I changed the top from the original sketch to suit my more natural style of painting.
No fancy stuff with this, just a simple plain ol' round brush and photoshop.

She is just breathtaking and my favorite piece (besides Lily and Maleah of course) you've done to date. The position she is sitting in tells a great deal about her and that she is very comfortable in power. The print on her shirt and the way the belt is wrapped around it is flawless. I love the off teal color of her hair and the beads twisting around her boots. Also, the fur she is sitting on looks very realistic. This picture is just amazing and really shows that you have improved I think.(Not that you needed to but you just raised the bar here) I'm in love!

Yah painting WoW pics have done wonders for my painting styles. Really improved me. Though I am so swamped with pictures right now its hard to know where to turn with them :S I think the fur was the hardest part to paint.. next to the skin. Getting that skin tone was a right pain.. in the end I had to take a screen shot and make swatches. But hey ho its all learning...

Nicely done sweetheart, easily your best picture so far. As everyone else said, the skin tones are spot on, the lighting is interesting and i'm so glad you decided to put those extra little things in like the beads and feather. The pattern on the top came out really well, kinda as if it's shiny in contrast with the material. Great work sweetheart

This IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!! I've been looking forward to this and I'm not disappointed! Her skin tone came out perfectly and again with all the beautiful and rich details you put into your work. I love it! I feel so privledged my picture was used as a basis for this! She came out so well!
