I was mostly playing around with a new costume idea and thought the cape seemed somehow patriotic. There have been mixed responses about it, so I might break it out sometime in the future. It being a ceremonial costume is a definite possibility.

I'm thinking this will be more of an occasional look that I might break out from time to time.

Thanks, I'm glad you like her. Yeah, I have always liked the metallic look on her as well.

Hey, if you don't mind, do I have permission to possibly use Aegis in my Angel Falls story saga I'm currently writing? Right now, I have no idea how long it'll be. The introduction story is on my page, and the first real story is in process now. I'd surely appreciate it.

VERY BRILLIANT WORK!! I think you should keep the cape... make it apart of her costume... it really suits her
General Bardak: :[link] *salutes Aegis*

I might break the cape out from time to time. Right now it's just an experiment. Some people like the cape, some think it doesn't suit her.

I just read her bio; as a mega-genius, of course sheβs a fan of the good olβ USA! Smart enough to know thereβs no place better on earth! Again, great work.

Well she is what Doc made her to be. He's undoubtedly the greated influence on her life up to this point and in some ways he always will be the greatest influence on her. He is her creator, mentor, teacher, and father. He definitely brought her up to love his country.

I'm not generally a big cape fan. It just seemed right for the 4th of July.

I don't know what it was, but it just somehow looked more patriotic.

Yeah... Superman for example who really pioneered that look was something of a "patriotism in disguise" guy...

Oh, I'd say he was red, white, and blue all over. Well, at least red and blue. No coincidence in the color choice. Not to mention his slogan, "Truth, justice, and the American way."

Hey, it was Captain America. If he wasn't a patriot ... well, that would be just wrong! There was a Captain Britain as well. Part of his uniform was the Union Jack. I don't remember seeing a Catain Australia though...

Yeah, funny how that works out... we do tend to be overlooked a lot of the time, don't see why it'd be any different in the superhero stakes...

Though Gateway from the X-men was an Aborigine... I liked him, but all things considered he was a minor character. I think there was an x-men villian group of cyborgs that were based in Australia: The Marauders. *shrug* I know old X-men, shrug.

I'd seen the Marauders... maybe once I think? didn't strike me as particularly Australian... of course it was during the old animated series...
