Full-view! It's prettyful!Done for a Realm of Sailor Energy contest. It was confusing - the rules made it sound like you were to enter a fanart with a background. Meh.
I like how this turned out. All the lineart was separate - background in pencil, Chibi-Usa inked on another page, and Peruru inked on another page, then all added together in PSP and printed off to color. And yes, Peruru was supposed to be small. I felt like drawing him as a little fairy.
Colors - Peruru's colors are right on the mark, but I changed Chibi-Usa's a little. Her dress design is similar, but not exactly like her manga dress, and I added the pearls. Also, because of all the pink, the outer layer of her dress is light purple instead of traditional pink, and her eyes are blue instead of red.
The background...It's fall. I love fall colors. I didn't blend any of the background for two reasons: 1) it would take waaaaay too long, and 2) I like the unblended effect. I didn't blend much in the picture, actually - all of Peruru, because of his light colors, and all the pink of Chibi-Usa, but other than that, only her eyes got any blending.
I intend to color it again. Sometime.
Used Roseart colored pencils.

^_^ Thanks! I think I was influenced by ~icrywolf , who did an Ichgio (Tokyo Mew Mew) fanart a while back, and Ichigo had blue eyes to stand out against all the pink. I guess that stuck with me.

Yeah, I know her eyes are red-maroon, but with her hair and dress already pink (that's also why I made her top dress purple), I wanted blue eyes to stand out.

Ooh la la! I LOVE the background! Also, the coloring on Chibiusa and Peruru rocks! I really like how Chibiusa's outfit isn't the same as normal, this dress looks really good on her. Also, Peruru is so cute! He looks adorable as a little fairy!
