I painted this in the drawing class I just finished talking. We went to the Environmental Center right next to our school. The guy who works there was telling us so much stuff about how important a place like this is to the wildlife that is native to our state. After listening, I was feeling really sad. What we all do as normal life is harming the other life around us everyday. And no one thinks nothing of it. Then we all cry when another animal goes extinct.Anyway.
First time using watercolors and painting from real life. It was definetly a learning experince.
Material: Watercolors, Bristol board

This is sweet looking forest
you drew grass...omg XD
I like the different colors used in between
trees and ground plants. Its so spiffy ^^
The branches look good to, I always have a hard
time drawing them, cant think of a good shading method
The only thing that bothers me about this is the red paint on the trees
the red sticks out alot and seems a lil out of place since everything else has
a soft light hue. Sweet work, you go girl...no seriously...GO so I can win in the contest

Thanks alot. I dunno to me at least, it was really hard working with watercolors. The paint just flows around wherever it wants. And I know exactly what you mean about the red on that tree. Ick.
