(Haven't uploaded anything for the month of May yet so better change that quick.)SnivyTheSniper originally drew this character for TheMistressSlime but she was then sold to me for 20 points a few days ago so i officially own her now. I have a thing for pink characters and i absolutely love the design so for tonight i drew her. I think i screwed up majorly on the legs, but then again; nobody's perfect...... There is a bit of influence from BeccaDoodles art style as i based it a bit from her drawings.
I don't have much to say though this art really doesn't feel like a fail though i feel i'm reaching my limit.

Mouse drawing is a hard technique though!
Not liking a piece means that your eye has improved (same happens to me all the time).

Yes it's quite hard. I've seen people do incredible with a mouse like what most people do with a tablet.

Cool! Honestly, the only reason your drawings arnt REALLY good is because you use a mouse. You don't suck at drawing you are good if you can draw THAT with a mouse.

Legs like those are slightly difficult for me as well.
Also, I think this is just fine, along with all your other art since it was done with a mouse. Once you get a tablet, assuming you might or perhaps already have one, your stuff should get atleast twice as good.
drawing characters are extremely difficult (atleast for me it is, but I do it all the time), this looks pretty good too, you should keep going at character design as well as other stuff you feel needs work.
I can see some potential in this artwork.

And yeah this was pretty hard considering how long it took. Doesn't really look good but oh well.

Always a pleasure. If you don't get a tablet, you could also try doing traditional more often. That could really help you in your skills.
You can draw things in traditional pretty decently. The only thing you have to do though, is knowing how to draw what you're trying to draw, shouldn't be every hard at that point.
And yes I can see it, it takes quite a bit of time and if you're young, you'll have much more time on your hands. I'm a beginner as well but never compare yourself to me, we just have different art that's all.

I can agree with you on that, because most artists compare their work with others. However they forget that they aren't alone, they aren't very many who are "really good" at drawing in the world, they need to appreciate that.
To not compare with another is almost impossible but perhaps it s based off self esteem.
Perhaps you could take how much time I draw per day and how long I've been drawing for (about 18 months) into account. I spend atleast 2 hours a day drawing and trying to improve, sometimes I go overboard with it. I act as if my deadline for making any professional work should be by the 2 year mark. Taking it a little too seriously, haha.

I also wanted to tell you that the piece may not look so great, but what does it matter when the character looks good?
Not only the character itself but the way she's drawn (it's usually al in the face/eyes).
You drew her in a charming fashion, even if the piece itself is shabby.
