Description

This basically just a reference image for my PMDUnity team. Team Rokuyukai featuring Suzaku the Helioptile and Murugu the Noivern. I have updated this along with the application for a all in one compilation for the team so I don't have to give two links again XD. I also the added back story and personalities for both of them as well.

Personality: Suzaku has a very timid, yet curious nature. He hates fighting and usually tries to avoid conflicts unless it's out of self defense. Even then he often strays from using offensive moves and instead uses his quick speed to his advantage to run away or defend himself. Suazku is also shy upon meeting new people, but with time he can get accustomed to meeting new friends.

Backstory: Suzaku was stolen from his original home as an egg by a pair of thieves. He was then taken a long ways from his birthplace until they thieves accidentally lost it. Suzaku's egg was then found by a young Noibat who took it back to her parents and that was when the young Helioptile was born. The Noibat's parents took in Suzaku as it were their own due to the fact didn't know where Suzaku came from. Growing up in a odd environment; Suzaku learned to be good natured, but was isolated from the majority of the world making him a little afraid of the new world, but that fear just made him all the more curious to explore it.

Personality: Due to her mother like compassion towards Suzaku; Murugu has a very brave nature. She has a very philosophical outlook on life, especially when serious times are upon her often times fighting intellectually rather than attacking head on. She like her partner has a very kind demeanor after spending some time together values life and never kills unless absolutely necessary. She does however, treat people differently depending on the other person's personality.

Backstory: Born isolated from the majority of the world; Murugu grew up to be very secluded along with her parents. As a Noibat she was taught the basic means of taking care of herself, but wasn't allowed to move out of the area until she was a Noivern just as her parents. This led to many lonely moments to times when she was alone that she started questioning herself and that's when she developed her philosophical mindset. Later on she discovered the egg that would soon hatch into Suzaku. It was the first time she had been experiencing something from the outside world and she helped take care of the young Helioptile as a younger brother. Eventually Murugu evolved into a Noivern and like her parents promised she could finally leave her home place, but not before Suzaku pleaded to go with her and together they experienced the world they had been missing for so long.

========== WRITTEN TEST ===========

"Another nice day isn't it?" A Noivern by the name of Murugu said to her companion who was walking alongside her. The streets they walked on were quite busy, but they were able to brush aside all the busy traffic and continue their business they had in the city of Andalusst.

"Yeah....I guess." A Helioptile by the name of Suzaku replied a bit hesitantly. Looking at all the new faces around him; Suzaku wasn't nearly as comfortable walking around in the big city as Murugu. Still though; all the sights of the city intrigued him and his crystal blue eyes were captivated by what the city had to offer.

The Noivern took notice of the all to familiar tone in her companion's tone. She then softened her expression a bit before she spoke once again. "Hey are you okay with walking all by yourself here?" Murugu asked. "Andalusst City is quite big and I'd hate to see you get lost in this big crowd." She added hinting her companion to instead climb onto her back. At least this way he would perhaps be more comfortable with his surroundings.

"No no..." Suzaku replied as they were reaching a corner. "I'm quite capable of walking on my own. I don't need you to baby me." Suzaku added just before he bumped into a stranger at the corner. The impact caused both Pokemon to fall back.

Murugu; as if by instinct, immediately went over to help Suzaku recover from his run in with the mystery stranger upon seeing him fall to the ground. "Are you okay?" She asked with concern. "Nothing broken is there?"

Suzaku picked himself up with his companions assistance. "Yes, I'm fine." Suzaku replied again before he gained his focus back. He was surprised to see the stranger he bumped into turned out to be a Furret. The Helioptile could even see it's brightened big eyes both of which contained whitish pupils. Suzaku felt all of his courage that he built up earlier fade away as he locked eyes with the Furret.

"Watch it! Why, I oughta toss ya into the street for that!” The Furret replied bitterly. The expression it carried looked none too happy about the little accident that had transpired.

The threat alone was enough to make Suzaku step back in fear. "Oh....sorry i didn't mean to bump into you." He apologized letting his long ears droop down even further. Murugu stepped forward in between the two a simply gave the Furret a displeased frown. She didn't feel the need to immediately attack it, but would defend her companion if need be. She instead waited for the first strike to come from the Furret, however it didn't come.

Instead, the pair saw a smile creep over the Furret's face. "Heh, just joshin’ ya. Only uptight nerds fight over bumpin’ into each other." He said in a joking manner earning himself a weird look from Suzaku while went into a more neutral expression. Both of them went quiet not saying anything merely out of curiosity of what the Furret was going to say.

"I like your style, though. You new around here? I’m guessin’... stepped outta the fog and got all confused? How close am I?"

"Heh that sounds just about right." Murugu replied getting her positive attitude back. Though I will admit you had me on edge there for a second." She admitted as she examined the Furret. She took notice that his eyes made it look like the guy was blind so it made perfect sense that he'd bump right into his partner.

Suzaku softened his expression feeling much more relaxed to be be in front of the Furret. "Y-yes we just came in from Mystic Mountain. I have to admit; it looks completely different from this place.

"Oh yeah? Think I’ve heard that place before… maybe not, though. My memory’s all fuzzy after ya scrambled my brain a few seconds ago." The Furret said jokingly though it made Suzaku a bit guilty. "Anyway… name’s Cuffin. Pleased to meetcha! Now, how ‘bout you tell me who ya are?"

Suzaku perked up upon feeling a bit more attached to Cuffin or rather he was becoming more attached to them. "I'm Suzaku." Suzaku introduced himself with a flick of his tail.

"I'm Murugu and it's a pleasure to meet you as well." The Noivern added.

“Not bad, not bad. I wouldn’t name my kids that… but hey, it’s a free world." Cuffin said earning a few sweat drops from the pair. "So, you guys lookin’ into the guilds here? They look pretty desperate for newbies. Think you’d wanna join one of ‘em?”

"Actually, that's the main reason we've came to this city." Murugu explained. "We were going to just walk around till we found one, but if you know the way, we would both be honored for you to tell us which direction to go in." She added as sincere as possible.

Suzaku nodded. "Yeah we'd really appreciate it if you could help us out."

"Of course. I'll lead the way right to it. Cuffin explained before heading off into the ocean of other pokemon.

Murugu looked at Suzaku and he returned the look before they both shrugged it off. Suzaku climbed on top of Murugu just to be safe and not get lost and they followed Cuffin by walking alongside him.

Along the way Suzaku couldn't help but notice Cuffin having a hard time maneuver within the crowd and not because it was so packed. The Furret even got lost at some point but quickly caught back up with them. The Helioptile lightly tapped Murugu on the head.

"Hey Murugu?" Suzaku said getting her attention.

"Yeah?" The Noivern replied.

"What's up with Cuffin? Is he ok?" He asked curiously.

"He's just a little blind so it'd kind of hard for him to see clearly." Murugu answered back.

"Oh....I feel a little bad for him." Suzaku said quietly having some sympathy for the Furret.

"Really? I wouldn’ta pinned ya for that type. I guess they’d be glad to have ya, though. From what I know, they always want ya to have some kinda “team name” to work under ‘em with. What do ya think yours would be?" Cuffin asked the pair.

Suzaku and Murugu both looked at each other and whispered into each others ears as if deciding what they wanted their team name to be as they didn't have one pre planned already. After a bit Murugu sounded a bit defeated as if she was going to go with whatever Suzaku had to say.

"What about Team Rokuyukai?" Suzaku proposed.

Cuffin kept silent for several seconds only intensifying the moment. “Well, ain’t heard that one before. You might not wanna walk into the rough parts of town callin’ yourself that… eh, or maybe do it anyway if you can handle yourself. I mean, no doubt you can probably throw a punch, or maybe you’ve got a silver tongue. The guilds look for stuff like that." Cuffin expained

Suzaku smiled. "Yay....wait." He stopped his celebrating for a moment before he asked Murugu another question. "What does silver tongue mean." He asked her.

Murugu sighed. "I'll just tell you later."

Cuffin spoke up again getting the pair's attention. "How ‘bout you tell me what ya think your strengths are, just to get your story straight for when they wanna know?”

Suzaku smiled happily. "That's easy. My speed!"

Murugu smiled as well. "And my intelligence though I don't like to brag."

Cuffin seemed to be well engrossed into the pair discussions about their strengths. “Yeah… yeah, I can respect that. Everybody’s gotta get by in their own way, and there ain’t nobody who knows that better than me. If you play on your strengths, you’ll get far here, I bet.” He admits to the both of them.

Suzaku smiles as his baby blue eyes glistened. "Cool...."

After a short moment Cuffin spoke up again. “I hate to deprive ya of my presence, but I’ve gotta bounce. I’m sure you’ll see me again, so don’t sweat it. I’m sure the guild’ll love to have ya.”

Murugu held her neutral expression again as she usually does though she couldn't help but smile as the Furret began to depart. "Farewell."

Suzaku waved from the top of the Noivern's head. "Hope to see you soon." he yelled out as he saw Cuffin stylishly avoid bumping into several other Pokemon. The new team had a long road ahead of them, but it would be one road they would love to travel together along with the friends they would make here.
