Description I finished it!

This is a prize for who won 3rd place awhile ago in It's her OC warrior Sharkface.

I'm so sorry it took so long. I've been very busy with the semester and with my job, so I decided to finish it during Christmas break. The funny thing is I had started this and accidentally deleted it when I was cleaning my PC, so I had to start over again. I'm kind of glad I did because it came out better than the first time. Drawing scars is hard and even harder when I couldn't find a good reference, so I guessed.

I hope you like it; he was fun to draw.

Time: around 5-6 hours

I loved the eyes too. The anatomy is a little wonky, but it still looks okay. Recently I've seen some equine artists use a textured stock photo for a background and I always thought they looked interesting so I tried it.

I sketched the cat on a white piece of paper then drew over it digitally in photoshop. Then I added a texture for the background which is below the reference link in my comments. I've seen alot of artists do that and it looked interesting.
