To Celebrate the release of Skyward Sword and 25 years of Legend of Zelda games, I bring to you my Zelda-a-Day art project for the month of November (so basically, 30 days of Zelda goondness).Day 15 - Conquer Yourself
Obligitory Link vs. Dark Link drawing ftw!
A bit about this piece:
Oh...my god...just...OMG!
You have no idea how much I was looking forward to drawing this one. 
This right here is my reason why getting lost in the Water Temple for days is all worth it. The Conquer Yourself fight has to be one, if not the most epic reoccurring battle in the Zelda series! :3 It would be a crime if I didn't draw it for my Zelda-a-Days.
I had sooo many ideas for this drawing, but finally settled on this pose. I actually drew the characters (and parts of them) on 3 separate sheets of 8X10 paper, because I couldn't get it to look as awesome on just one.
That's why Link's sword arm is messed up a little though...:/ Dark Link turned out lovely, however! On a sadder note...this drawing marks the halfway point of this project. ;w; Time is flying by so fast!

Whoa, this here looks like it was probably quite difficult. I couldn't have pulled off their positioning and distancing, which you did wonderfully. Creative choice too

I hadn't really been following your Zelda a day... sadly I was not a zelda player as a kid. The only one I ever even touched was Oracina of Time, and even that one I haven't played all the way through cos it was on a friend's system. I didn't own any systems to play zelda as a kid except a gameboy...
Anyway, despite that I immediately clicked this one because of how awesome the composition is! O.o I'm vaguely aware of Link/ Dark Link but this pic is just... so... AWESOME!
