Yeah, when she leaves its great, and the maids are allowed not to be too cautious anymore when they enter her room as she used to violetly attack the maids, even Auntie Nitta was relieved as she was the one who told her to go-
I LOVED the chapter when she was drunk and had Sayuri's(Chiyo's)diary but then Sayuri hid it, she SO got Hatsumomo back huh? Thats one of the funniest parts ever in the book XDDD

Yeah, Gong Li is great actress! I've been wanting to get Raise the Red Lanterns on dvd for a while now, I think it was one of the first movies she did. Although the character she plays is so much different from hatsumomo!
